What was your greatest challenges in preparing for your birth BEFORE joining Werk Your Birth program?
Not knowing what to expect from labor and that made me feel unprepared and fearful on my ability to birth my son.
What made you decide to join Werk Your Birth?
Hearing other women’s testimonials/birth story and that gave me so much confidence because I felt that if they were able to do unmedicated births and ENJOY it then so could I!

How did Werk Your Birth positively impact your birthing experience?
It gave my partner and I the resources, the right information, and preparation we needed to be confident and know what to do while we labored at home

What has this program done for you (and your partner)?
It’s given us a beautiful start to parenthood! Because we were prepared and we had Chanel in our corner, we continue to receive help and support from her and the community. There’s so many moms that are all on the same boat, what I’ve loved the most is being able to learn from other moms who are ahead of me, I remember joining a postpartum call while I was in my last weeks of pregnancy and that itself gave me a lot of insight! It’s not just about laboring but postpartum support as well!
Were there any results you weren't expecting that pleasantly surprised you?
Birthing at the hospital haha, I didn’t expect it but getting free food and a lot of help the first 2 nights was definitely pleasant
What would you tell a mama who is hoping to prepare for birth?
Trust your body, your baby and God that everything is going to go beautifully because you are deserving of a beautiful birth experience! Once you’re there, take it 1 contraction at a time, each one is brining your baby closer to earth side and you both are about to meet! Don’t focus on how much longer it’s going to be, just be present and welcome the surges in. You got this mama! 🤍
Before we end, what would you tell someone who is considering investing in the Werk Your Birth program?
Oh absolutely! It’s life long support and having a child is already a life long commitment so it’s a win win.
